As she rose up into the sky, Mama reminded him,

“Wait for me, Little Cloud! I will be back for you.”

With each gust of wind, Mama Cloud's body

grew colder. So cold that it lost its fluffiness.

just a tiny speck in the big blue sky.

Suddenly, soft white petals began to flutter down.

When Little Cloud saw the snowflakes, he whooped

with joy. Finally, snow!

“Come make a snowman with me, Mama!” he called out.

But she was nowhere to be seen.

“Mama, Mama!” Little Cloud cried. “Mama, where are you?”
